SAN DIEGO — Female-owned companies can expect millions in funding opportunities, new relationships with high net worth investors and financial advice during the first Female Founders Pitch Summit organized by Rose Vitale, an entrepreneur and investor who wants women to succeed in their businesses.
The pitch summit will take place May 21, 2021, at the Hilton Bayfront in San Diego. It will bring 50+ investors to meet 100 female founders of companies looking for funding. FFPS is a powerful one-day event that gives female founders the opportunity to pitch their project or company to gain funding. This exclusive event will be filled with passion and excitement that will lead to life-changing moments for both the founders and investors. It promises to be an unforgettable day of pitches, networking, cocktails, fine dining and entertainment, said Vitale, founder of FFPS. The summit is expected to transform how venture capital is funded and start a movement for change.
“I am passionate about this pitch summit because, at one time, it was me. I couldn’t get funding to expand even though I had more than $5 million in revenue,” said Vitale. “I hired a lawyer who understood the Securities and Exchange Commission and business adviser, but I still couldn’t get funding. Therefore, I feel it is my duty to make sure other women do not experience what I did. I want them to get funding. I will make that happen through the Female Founders Pitch Summit.”
According to statistics, about 40 percent of businesses are started by women, but only 2.9 percent of them receive the available funding. That is what Vitale wants to change. She wants to see more women get the funding they need to expand and create jobs in their communities. Already, competitors are starting to notice what Vitale is doing and changing the amount of funding they offer.
