Federal Highway Administration selects Stantec for nationwide design and engineering services

Stantec to provide Eastern Federal Lands Highway Division with engineering, planning, and architectural services for highway and bridge projects associated with federal land management agencies

EDMONTON, AB; NEW YORK, NY

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), Eastern Federal Lands Highway Division (EFLHD) has awarded Stantec a five-year, $80 million shared-ceiling indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract for highway and bridge design and engineering services. In this role, Stantec will support projects within the continental United States and its territories associated with federal land management agencies such as National Park Service, U.S. Forest Service, and Fish and Wildlife Service, among others.

Complementing the engineering and design services outlined under this IDIQ, additional work may include geotechnical, hydraulics and hydrology, survey and mapping, traffic and safety engineering, structural engineering, planning, value engineering, environmental compliance, and landscape design. Additional services will focus on resolving wide-ranging challenges, from environmental compliance, to providing solutions that are sensitive to the context of the local landscape.
