ERDCWERX, ERDC Seek Solutions for Rapid Road Surface Stabilization

VICKSBURG, MISS. – ERDCWERX, in collaboration with its partner, the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), is accepting white paper submissions for materials that result in rapid roadway strength improvements. The Army seeks to identify material solutions that support expedited vehicle maneuver across degraded and/or under designed roadway surfaces.

The Rapid Road Surface Stabilization (RRSS) Capability Assessment encourages industry, academia, national labs, individual innovators, and other parties to submit two-page white papers that meet certain requirements and, if selected, may be included in full-scale testing. There is no requirement to be certified to do business with the federal government in order to submit.

The RRSS tech challenge is accepting submissions through December 16, 2020. For more information and to submit, visit www.erdcwerx.org/rrss.

ERDCWERX encourages those who would like to learn more about opportunities launched in conjunction with the ERDC to sign up to receive project announcements at www.erdcwerx.org/join-our-ecosystem.

ERDCWERX has tools to empower small businesses, entrepreneurs, and academia to identify new partnerships for innovation and commercialization with the ERDC in military engineering, environmental quality and inspections, civil works and water resources, geospatial research and engineering, and engineered resilient systems.
