CARMEL, Ind. – Based on the principles of solid relationships, mutual respect, integrity and ethical practice, Steve Osborn launched the structural engineering firm CE Solutions in 1998. Almost 25 years later, the firm’s team has grown to almost 20 employees and its engineers are registered or licensed in more than 15 states.

Osborn relied on the  firm’s founding principles to develop a structured succession plan. As part of the plan, members of the agency’s leadership team were promoted. JD Taylor is now president. Chip Bradway, Heather Cox, and Carrie Walden were promoted to vice presidents and principals.

In addition, Osborn and the CE Solutions leadership team welcomed Matt Clark as the new owner and CEO of the company.  With two decades of heavy industrial and commercial construction experience, Clark’s portfolio includes work in healthcare, infrastructure,  manufacturing, hospitality, and higher education.

“Matt’s body of work aligns well with our services and market specializations,” explains Osborn who remains active with the firm as founder, principal, and member of the leadership team. “Further, Matt and I have worked together and known each other for more than ten years. I know he shares my values when it comes to professional relationships, mutual respect, integrity, and ethical practice.”

Executing a succession plan with defined parameters and future opportunities was important to the leadership team which now includes Osborn, Clark, Taylor, Bradway, Cox, and Walden. They remain dedicated to honoring the deep history of the business while also setting the company up for future success.
