DFI Hosting 48th Annual Conference on Deep Foundations: October 31-November 3, 2023, in Seattle Abstracts Being Accepted Until January 13

Abstracts are being accepted until Friday, January 13, for original technical papers and panel sessions for DFI’s 48th Annual Conference on Deep Foundations (#DFI48), being held October 31-November 3, 2023, in Seattle.

The theme is Embracing Change. This conference will look into the trends in industry advancements, changing policies and standards and incorporating resiliency in design and construction across the deep foundation industry. All accepted papers are published in the conference proceedings and select papers will be presented in-person by the author during the technical sessions.

Abstracts are also being accepted through Friday, January 13, for the DFI Educational Trust 2023 Young Professor Paper Competition and the Student Paper Competition.  The winning authors are invited to attend DFI48 to present their paper. The individual contest winners receive free conference registration, two nights of lodging and a $1,000 stipend for travel expenses. DFI also offers the winner and first runner-up a complimentary two-year DFI Individual Membership, which includes access to more than 150 DFI publications, all DFI Journal papers and over 125,000 articles via OneMine.org. Winning papers will be considered for publication in the DFI Journal.
