Dewberry expands into Pensacola, Fla.

FAIRFAX, VA. — Dewberry, a privately held professional services firm, recently opened a new location in Pensacola, Fla. The Pensacola project office enhances Dewberry’s presence in the Gulf Coast region, where the firm also has offices in New Orleans; Gulfport, Miss.; Mobile, Ala.; and Tampa, Fla. The new location will offer water resources, coastal and RESTORE Act consulting and engineering services.

Dewberry’s water resources service professionals specialize in watersheds and focus on practical and buildable solutions that incorporate opportunities driven by Flood Insurance Reform, the RESTORE Act, and climate change.

Dewberry has been working with the Northwest Florida Water Management District on projects in the Florida panhandle for more than 10 years. The firm views this office opening as an opportunity to expand coastal and water resource consulting services to the counties in the panhandle.

In May, Dewberry acquired the well-established planning, engineering, environmental, and surveying and mapping firm, Bowyer-Singleton. With eight locations and more than 110 employees working in Florida alongside state and city agencies, Dewberry continues to be highly invested in the state.
