DEWBERRY ANNOUNCES PROMOTIONS IN MARYLAND

Carol Holland and David Taylor promoted in Lanham and Baltimore, Maryland, offices

Fairfax, VA—

Dewberry, a privately held professional services firm, has announced that Associate Vice President Carol Holland, PE, CCM, LEED AP, and Vice President David Taylor Jr., RLA, have been promoted to managers of more than 85 employees in the Lanham and Baltimore, Maryland, offices.

Holland and Taylor will continue to drive growth initiatives, expand the firm’s client relationships, and work toward process improvements for the Maryland operations. Holland will be responsible for operations in the Lanham office, while Taylor will oversee site/civil engineering employees in the Baltimore office.

Holland has more than 25 years of experience in the architecture, engineering, and consulting industry and has a proven technical and executive management track record for federal and public-sector clients. As a Navy veteran, she served her country through the provision of facilities engineering services internationally, including assignments in Japan, Puerto Rico, and the Philippines. Holland also serves as the president of the National Capital Chapter of the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA).

Holland earned a master’s degree in environmental engineering from the University of California, Berkeley (1995) and a bachelor’s degree in systems engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy (1989).

Taylor has extensive experience in land planning and development, including all aspects of entitlements, zoning, planning, design, and permitting for energy infrastructure, commercial, industrial, institutional, residential, urban design, and recreation projects. He manages multidiscipline teams, addressing the full range of consulting services for delivering successful projects in the commercial and energy markets. Taylor also manages DimensionalView®, a map-based project management tool that links clients to Dewberry services and managed assets for infrastructure power, oil and gas, real estate, and land development sectors.

Taylor earned his master’s in real estate from The Johns Hopkins University (2009) and his bachelor’s in landscape architecture from West Virginia University (1993). He is a member of Leadership Baltimore County.
