Mortensen brings over 13 years of civil engineering experience managing projects and design teams
BROOKFIELD, Wis. — David Mortensen has joined raSmith as a project manager in the land development services division at the firm’s Brookfield office. Mortensen has more than 13 years of civil engineering and project management experience in conducting and managing due diligence, site planning, site design, grant procurement, permitting and construction administration. He has managed multi-disciplinary design teams for projects that include health care, hospitality, education, athletics, parks, retail, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
Mortensen is a professional engineer licensed in Wisconsin and is also certified as a construction document technologist (CDT). He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from UW-Platteville.
raSmith is a multi-disciplinary consulting firm comprising civil engineers, structural engineers, land surveyors, development managers, landscape architects and ecologists. Our services are focused on our public and private sector client needs in design and construction including land development, site planning and design, structural engineering, municipal engineering, transportation and traffic, surveying, construction services and geographic information systems (GIS). We work on projects nationwide from our eight locations in Wisconsin, Illinois and California.
