David Kouth Joins Freese and Nichols’ Lubbock Office and Expands Electrical Services

LUBBOCK, Texas  David Kouth has joined Freese and Nichols, Inc., as a Senior Electrical Engineer to expand expertise on the firm’s growing Facilities team and to bring additional resources to clients in the region.

Kouth has more than 27 years of experience, including extensive work on commercial and military buildings. He has handled projects for municipal and private clients and has helped coordinate multiple federal projects using the Design-Build delivery system.

“David has deep roots in Lubbock and has been building professional relationships in this area his entire career, so we’re excited that he’s helping us continue growing our local staff to serve West Texas clients,” said Heather Keister, a Freese and Nichols Associate and Lubbock Office Lead Engineer.

“With his expertise, David will strengthen our electrical group and be able to take on the role of senior advisor on projects. And he has the experience to serve as another strong mentor and coach for our young engineers,” Keister said.

Kouth received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Texas Tech University.

Freese and Nichols recently moved our Lubbock office downtown, to McDougal Plaza, to position the firm to better support revitalization of the city’s core and strengthen our services across West Texas.

From our Lubbock office, we assist public entities across 90 counties with a full range of engineering and planning services — including water supply systems, wastewater treatment plants, stormwater infrastructure, water reuse projects and roadway improvements. In addition to a wide array of projects for the City of Lubbock and Lubbock County, our teams serve a region stretching from El Paso to Abilene and the panhandle to San Angelo.
