COWI RAMPS UP ITS CANADIAN PRESENCE WITH OFFICE IN TORONTO

We are excited to announce that COWI North America has opened a new office in Toronto, Ontario that will support our growing team and allow more comprehensive support for the North American market. With teams spanning North America COWI now has the capacity within this new office to grow further.

Canadian Vice President, Jesse Unke, said: “establishing an office in Toronto allows COWI to provide coast to coast support in Canada for our clients and partners, and allows for continued growth of our Canadian team in this key area.”

The Toronto office is located downtown at 130 King St West in the Financial District, strategically located close to of COWI’s clients and partners. With offices all over the world, COWI combines its global presence with local knowledge to take on projects anywhere in the world.

In North America, COWI is a premier provider of planning, design and program management services within the bridge, tunnel, and marine sectors.

Drawing on its expertise from around the world, COWI has brought in acclaimed tunnels expert Gianpaolo Busacchi, Associate Project Director – Tunnels, who has relocated to Toronto from COWI’s offices in Doha, Qatar. This cross-border collaboration allows the company to leverage local presence and knowledge with international expertise. With the support of COWI’s networks of technical specialists and the opening of its Toronto office, Mr Busacchi’s ambition is to position COWI amongst one of the top players in the tunneling consulting industry in Canada.

Mr Busacchi said: “The investment planned for new and upgrading of existing infrastructure in North America is one of the most exciting I have seen throughout my career. The motivation to move to COWI North America was to work with our professional team there in the pursuit and delivery of these exciting projects. I’m looking forward to the challenge of opening and growing a new office in Toronto and helping position COWI for the significant pipeline of work to be delivered in Canada over the next five years.”

The company will be recruiting for bridge, tunnel and marine professionals to lead and form engaged teams for COWI’s work regionally and throughout North America.
