Cardno to provide restoration services at historic golf course

Cardno has been contracted through the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County, Illinois to begin a $17 million flood control project at the almost century-old Oak Meadows Golf Course.

The project will help manage flood control for the area, including 20 million gallons of stormwater, while also creating a new 18-hole flood resistant golf course, and nature preserve with bike and walking trails.

Cardno is providing restoration services, including 327,000 square yards of erosion control blanket, 392,000 wetland plantings, 115 acres of native seeding, and five years of ecological maintenance and monitoring.
