Buckland & Taylor Ltd. to provide bridge engineering services for 248th Street Underpass

NORTH VANCOUVER, BC – The BC Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure (BCMOT) has selected McElhanney Consulting Services Ltd., teamed with Buckland & Taylor Ltd. (B&T), Thurber Engineering Ltd. & DMD & Associates, to provide engineering services for the Highway 1 Eastbound Truck Climbing Lane Project in the Township of Langley, BC.

B&T will be providing bridge engineering services for the replacement of the Otter Road Underpass No. 1580N and 1580S that spans both eastbound and westbound traffic lanes of Highway 1. Pedestrian and bicycle usage will be incorporated into the design of the new underpass. B&T brings specialized expertise in bridge design having completed numerous similar bridges and a long history working with the BCMOT on structures projects. B&T is providing services on the project as a bridge sub-consultant to McElhanney Consulting Services Ltd.
