Black & Veatch expanding growth plans in Canada

Overland Park, Kan. — Black & Veatch announced that its Edmonton, Alberta-based professionals have relocated to larger office space that will accommodate the company’s growth plans in Canada. Today the local professionals guide Black & Veatch’s energy and water projects in Western Canada. Moving to the new office location on Edmonton’s west end provides the space to support existing projects and capture new business, the company said.

“Western Canada is one of the world’s leading energy markets, and Edmonton is a central stage from which Black & Veatch will drive its growth plans in an important region,” said Jim Doull, a Senior Vice President for Black & Veatch’s energy business. “The new space gives us room to grow and expand our client relationships in Canada.”

In addition to Edmonton, Black & Veatch has offices in Markham, Ontario, and Burnaby, British Columbia. Together the offices support all of Black & Veatch’s business lines, including power, oil and gas, water, telecommunications and mining.
