Arup appoints leader to head its management consultancy practice

Arup, a global sustainable development consultancy, today announced that Alexa Braun has joined the firm as Americas Management Consultancy Leader based in its Los Angeles office. Through this practice, Alexa will drive the continued growth and investment in the firm’s Advisory Services offerings, which includes delivering strategic advice to public and private decision-makers to help shape and improve their organizations and project outcomes. 

Over the course of her decades-long career, Alexa has supported a wide variety of public and private sector clients across multiple markets including federal, state, and local transportation, healthcare, and aviation. Her clients have included the US Air Force, City and County of Denver, United Airlines, Allina Healthcare, Amtrak, Chicago Department of Aviation, and  the Chicago Transit Authority, Through her expertise in urban planning, landscape architecture, and environmental studies, Alexa has developed a sharp understanding of the challenges and opportunities clients face in creating a resilient and sustainable built environment. 

Alexa has helped shape and drive strategic growth for various asset management and advisory consulting practices. With Alexa joining the firm, Arup gains a seasoned business leader with a proven background in the areas of asset management strategies, operations, capital planning and change management.
