01. Automated pedestrian measurement
Iteris, Inc. said its PedTrax computer vision technology for automated pedestrian measurement at intersections can improve safety and mobility without the need for new equipment installation. PedTrax automates measurement of the count, direction, and speed of pedestrians in crosswalks. With PedTrax, transportation professionals and officials can make better-informed decisions based on foot traffic volume, direction, and speed to optimize intersection signal timing and to inform improvements to signage and striping, intersection design, overpass locations, school crossing guard deployment, and even economic development programs.

04. Thermal break material
Fabreeka International’s Fabreeka-TIM LT series thermal break material for light load applications is designed for applications such as façade support brackets and clips, metal building framing, and certain concrete/precast connections. Made from recycled materials, which helps to achieve LEED credits, the Fabreeka-TIM LT series provides better thermal insulation than vinyl and plastics while reducing corrosion between dissimilar metals, the company said. For long life, designed compressive stress should not exceed loading of 1,500 psi for LT15 or 500 psi for LT5.
