Kristen Leathers-Gratton, PE, Assoc DBIA has been named the president of Affinis Corp. Over the years, Kristen has built her career at Affinis, joining the team after graduating with her civil engineering degree in 1990. We are thrilled to have her moving into this role.
With Kristen at the helm, Affinis will continue to build upon its foundation of proactive client service. She’s spent the last 29 years on our team supporting our mission, vision, and core values. Clients and colleagues can expect to receive the same level of service they have in years past.
“Affinis has always been about building long-lasting relationships, and no one lives that better than Kristen,” said Mike McKenna, PE, PTOE, Vice President of Affinis. “She knows what Affinis is built on and is perfectly suited to help us shape our future.”
Committed to her clients, colleagues, and co-workers, Kristen plans to grow our legacy by embracing Affinis’s core values. Her collaborative, team-based approach is not unlike our founder’s – or her co-worker’s.
When asked about taking on this role, Leathers-Gratton, said, “Affinis was not just Rick’s company, and it is not just my company. Affinis is ours. It belongs to all of our co-workers, and we will continue to work together to move communities forward.”
Affinis co-founder and president, Rick Worrel passed away in August 2019 following cardiac arrest. The firm is honored to continue his legacy.
