Columbia, Conn. — On Target Marketing & Communications, LLC, which focuses on the design and construction industry, made history this year when it swept an entire category in the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) national Marketing Communications Awards. On Target won 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for Best Feature Writing that it completed with three of its engineering clients.
The recipients of the 2014 Marketing Communications Awards were revealed during the SMPS Awards Gala in San Antonio during Build Business, the association's annual conference. Ron Worth, SMPS Chief Executive Officer, commented. “Being recognized in the only awards program that highlights the critical role and immense value marketing professionals bring to the design and building industry is a true distinction. Sweeping an entire category is unprecedented and merits special recognition.”
On Target’s president, Theresa M. Casey, FSMPS, CPSM, who was responsible for ghost-writing for her clients all three award-wining articles, commented, “It’s truly an honor to be recognized by industry peer judges for these joint efforts with our clients. Being the first to ever sweep an entire category is very humbling and extremely exciting for me personally and for On Target Marketing.”
