ACT Engineers, Inc.’s Vice President Eric Rosina Earns Certified Coastal Practitioner™ Credential

The CCP credential distinguishes recipients as having a broad knowledge base and understanding of the interrelationships among different coastal professions

Robbinsville & Marmora, NJ & Richboro, PA – ACT Engineers, Inc. is pleased to announce that Vice President Eric Rosina has earned the designation of Certified Coastal Practitioner™ (CCP) professional credential. Earning this designation distinguishes Eric as having a broad knowledge base and understanding of the interrelationships that exist among different coastal professions.

To earn the CCP credential, candidates must complete a series of ten courses offered by the Coastal Zone Foundation in cooperation with the American Shore & Beach Preservation Association. The CCP program provides participants with multidisciplinary instruction on comprehensive coastal management and defines the body of knowledge, which reflects best practices for coastal practitioners.

“I am eager to apply the best practices that I have learned through the CCP courses and implement that information to assist our clients,” said ACT Vice President Eric Rosina.

A graduate of the Penn State University Earth Science Program, Rosina has been in the Environmental Industry for more than 27 years. He is former president and secretary for the Pennsylvania Association of Environmental Professionals (PAEP) and is a past Communications Chair for the New Jersey Chapter of the National Brownfield Association, now the Brownfield Coalition of the Northeast (BCONE).

Rosina has a diverse technical background, having worked in both the contaminant remediation and permit compliance sides of the environmental industry in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York and Delaware. His remedial experience includes Superfund cleanups, Manufactured Gas Plant Investigations, Landfill Closures and Redevelopment, Petroleum Refinery and Gas Station Investigation/Cleanups and Petroleum Terminal Compliance.

Eric is responsible for the coordination of environmental due diligence requirements, personnel, site plan and state permitting for public and private development throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania at ACT Engineers, Inc. The CCP certification is useful as Eric assists clients with their coastal resilience planning and implementation within state and federal regulatory landscapes.
