ACI announces the winners of its 2014 Fiber-Reinforced Concrete Bowling Ball competition

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – The American Concrete Institute (ACI) announces the winners of its 2014 Fiber-Reinforced Concrete (FCR) Bowling Ball Competition. The competition took place at the ACI Spring 2014 Convention in Reno, Nev.

The objective of this competition is to demonstrate the effect of fibers in reinforcing concrete, to gain experience in forming and fabricating a concrete element, and to encourage creativity in engineering design and analysis.
