CHINO, Calif. – C.W. Driver Companies, a premier builder serving California for more than 100 years, recently celebrated the opening of Legacy Academy K-8 School located at The Preserve at Chino, a 38-acre master-planned community. The all-new $51M public school will serve more than 1,250 students in the Chino Valley Unified School District.

Work on the new state-of-the art K-8 school began in November 2022 with the goal of relieving overcrowding at nearby Cal Aero Preserve Academy (which had gone on a year-round schedule due to exceeding capacity). Legacy Academy is part of the new construction supporting The Preserve neighborhood in western San Bernardino County which encompasses a planned library, community center, and a 9.75-acre park that will include a sports court, playground, dog park, picnic area, walking trail, and an outdoor stage.
