Platinum Contracting Completes Major Underground Infrastructure Project for Summerlin West Expansion

LAS VEGAS  – Platinum Contracting, a leading Las Vegas contractor specializing in heavy civil and underground utilities, has completed a large-scale underground infrastructure project in Summerlin. The installation supports the expansion of Southern Nevada’s largest master plan community, setting the foundation for several planned subdivisions. 

Platinum’s vital utility feeder project in Summerlin’s west area involved the installation of dry utilities, which are fundamental in the development of new residential areas. Dry utilities include telecom lines, natural gas piping and electrical systems.

The project is designed to run all the main underground infrastructure necessary to support the expanding residential zones. The planned communities will now be equipped to connect to vial resources such as electricity and communications. 

The underground infrastructure installation is one of the first steps in moving forward with the Summerlin West expansion.
