Duperon’s Cindy Seitz Honored for Outstanding Leadership in the Great Lakes Bay Community

Saginaw, Michigan – Duperon Corporation is pleased to announce that Cindy Seitz is the recipient of the 2024 Outstanding Leadership Award from the Michigan Banner for her years of dedicated service to the community. This award is one of the annual Heart of the City awards presented to individuals who have made significant contributions to the betterment of the Great Lakes Bay area community. Ms. Seitz was honored yesterday at the annual fundraising gala being held at the Horizons Conference Center.

“Cindy’s remarkable work in leading and inspiring both individuals and local organizations has earned her this well-deserved recognition,” says Terry Duperon, company founder and chairman of the board. “Her tireless efforts have had a profound impact on the community, and her exemplary leadership serves as an inspiration to others.”

In addition to her more than 10 years as executive assistant at Duperon Corporation, Ms. Seitz is also the president of Duperon Education, a Saginaw-based company committed to helping people build a life they love. Through Duperon Education’s signature program, THE CLASS, she has inspired and coached residents to realize their dreams. Graduates have started many successful businesses in the Great Lakes Bay Region.

As part of her community work, Ms. Seitz is dedicated to ensuring children have opportunities to be creative and pursue their dreams. To achieve this goal, she was instrumental in the creation of Dare to Dream, a program that inspires kids between 12 and 17 to turn their dreams into a reality by sharing a business and marketing plan for one of their innovations. This enriching experience provides young people with insights into product development and marketing strategy, empowering them with the confidence and knowledge to pursue their dreams.

Ms. Seitz also helped found the One DEGREE Club. The program is designed to help connect like-minded individuals to foster community growth and local business development.
