Terracon expands presence in El Paso, Texas

Olathe, Kan. —Terracon announced the ownership of a new office in El Paso, Texas. The El Paso operation was previously owned by Raba Kistner Consultants, Inc., and transitions its employees, equipment, and current projects to Terracon to serve clients locally and nationally.

Founded in 1965, Terracon offers environmental, geotechnical, materials, and facilities services from 150 offices across the United States. Raba Kistner’s complementary service offerings will transition seamlessly into Terracon.

“We are excited to expand our strong Texas presence into the city of El Paso,” said David Gaboury, P.E., president and CEO of Terracon. “The depth of experience for this office will bring great value to our clients locally and nationally.”

Raba Kistner was founded in 1968 and will continue to operate its office locations across the Southwest, other areas in the U.S., and in Mexico. Raba Kistner specializes in environmental, geotechnical, and facilities engineering, as well as program management and construction quality assurance services.

“For 37 years, Raba Kistner has maintained its reputation as a highly trusted engineering consultant, providing services to our clients in El Paso,” said Chris Schultz, president and COO of Raba Kistner Consultants. “Going forward, our strategic plan includes expanding several service lines and offerings which are not highly applicable in the El Paso market. We see this as the right opportunity to transition long-term clients, partners, consultants, and employees to an organization more focused on their specific needs. We are confident that Terracon will continue to provide quality employment and client services.”

The office will immediately become Terracon.
