Newforma spins off Project Analyzer product

Manchester, N.H. — Newforma, Inc. is spinning off Newforma Project Analyzer to a new and independent company formed to focus on architecture and engineering project financial and resource management. ProjectInsight.io was co-founded by Tom Vandervort, former director of product management at Newforma, and JJ Brantingham, former chief information officer and partner at Sebesta Blomberg, a full-service engineering and design services company.

Newforma Project Analyzer, renamed simply “Project Analyzer,” will be the first of a portfolio of products from ProjectInsight.io to initiate planning, financial management and staffing resource allocation for projects. Customers will benefit by working with a company totally focused on improving project performance analytics that support better decision making by project managers and firm executives. ProjectInsight.io is taking over Project Analyzer’s development, as well as its sales, marketing, support and services.

Newforma CEO Ian Howell said, “Transitioning Project Analyzer to ProjectInsight.io means customers will benefit greatly from a team of experts focused solely on enhancing that critical product’s capabilities. We could think of no one better to lead that team than Tom Vandervort, who has led product management teams at both Newforma and Deltek for the last 10 years, and JJ Brantingham, with his deep expertise in the information technology needs of architectural and engineering practices.”

Vandevort said, “Over the past few years, Project Analyzer has enabled leading architects and engineering firms to more effectively plan and execute projects. As ProjectInsight.io, we are now are now in a position to build on and grow that success. I am excited about the future for ProjectInsight.io, Newforma, and our mutual customers.”
