Construction Survivor website launch supports industry

POULSBO, WASH. — Construction Survivor LLC, an organization inspired by the survival of the construction industry, launched their official website and online store earlier this month. The organization was started by Bryan and Keith Oleachea of Hardware Wholesale, a construction supply company in Poulsbo, Wash., and a third partner, Shannon Meyers. The three partners decided they wanted to find a way to help recognize and motivate the people that they encounter daily who are struggling to rebuild their businesses and their lives. The mission of Construction Survivor is to pay tribute to all who have worked and all who are still working in the construction trade, and unify them under one symbol. The online retail store offers t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, travel mugs, and window stickers that do just that, with the “Construction Survivor” logo. Also, because the people of Construction Survivor know that each business’s success depends directly on the community in which supports them, 5 percent of all Construction Survivor revenue will be placed in the Kids of Construction. “Kids of Construction” is a non-profit organization that hopes to help send children of construction families to college by offering grants and rewards to those who apply and qualify.
