Kleinfelder opens Calgary office

CALGARY, ALBERTA — Kleinfelder opened a new office in downtown Calgary, Alberta. The office will provide additional regional support from Kleinfelder’s diverse team of project managers, architects, engineers, scientists, designers and account managers to meet the growing needs of clients within the oil, gas, water, industrial and commercial markets in Canada.

“As our clients grow and expand globally, we are committed to growing with them, both geographically and in terms of the services we provide,” said Bill Siegel, Kleinfelder CEO. “With a dedicated, full-service Kleinfelder team in Calgary, our clients in the region will have support for every stage of their projects, from inception through completion.”

Kleinelder has been working with a number of U.S.-based big-box stores in the region for years, but the decision to bring the firm’s full suite of services to Alberta was in large part due to the growing needs of the firm’s energy clients.

“We are currently working with energy clients on all types of upstream, midstream and downstream projects, throughout every phase, from site selection, permitting, resource evaluation and technical assessment, to design, construction, reclamation and project closeout,” said Siegel. “As we continue to grow our team in the region, we also foresee a number of large-scale opportunities in the water market.”

Kleinfelder has been executing a strategic growth plan since 1992, with global expansion identified as a crucial component to overall company growth. With the expansion into Canada, Kleinfelder will continue to look for new opportunities to leverage all of the firm’s capabilities, while continuing to provide exceptional, turn-key service to existing clients.
