2015 TRB 94th Annual Meeting accepting papers

Washington, D.C. — TRB is accepting papers for consideration as part of the program for the TRB 94th Annual Meeting, Jan. 11-15, 2015, in Washington, D.C., and for publication in the Transportation Research Record: Journal of the Transportation Research Board (TRR). The spotlight theme for the 2015 TRB Annual Meeting is Corridors to the Future: Transportation and Technology.

Spotlight sessions, workshops, and discussions at the TRB 94th Annual Meeting will highlight the critical role played by transportation research and its deployment in enhancing the variety, efficiency, and sustainability of transportation options available for freight and people. The information-packed program is expected to attract yet another record crowd.

In addition to the general calls for papers produced by many of TRB's standing committees, authors are invited to submit papers related to the spotlight theme or on other topics of interest to the TRB community.

Authors planning to submit papers receive password-controlled, limited web access to individual papers published in the Transportation Research Record (TRR): Journal of the Transportation Research Board since 1996. Access will be provided after submission of an abstract for a paper via the paper submission website. This feature allows authors access to some of the latest research in their areas of interest.

All papers must be submitted via TRB's Paper Submission website at https://pressamp.trb.org/submissions/default.asp?event=766 by Aug. 1, 2014.

The paper submission website will close when it is no longer August 1 anywhere in the world. Papers will be accepted only in PDF format.

The Paper and Presentation Guides website (www.trb.org/AnnualMeeting2015/AM2015ParticipantGuides.aspx) includes information on key dates, preparing papers for peer review and presentation at the upcoming meeting, writing a paper for the TRR, the general submission process, and more. Authors are advised to consult documents included on the Paper and Presentation Guides website prior to writing a paper to ensure that it adheres to the latest guidelines. TRB reserves the right to reject papers that do not adhere to the guidelines.

Authors of submitted papers will be notified of the acceptance or non-acceptance of their papers by late October 2014 for presentation during the 2015 TRB 94th Annual Meeting.
