2012 Zweig Marketing Letter Marketing Excellence Award winners announced

FAYETTEVILLE, ARK. — Recognizing the exceptional marketing efforts of architecture, engineering, planning, and environmental consulting firms in the United States and Canada, the Marketing Excellence Award winners have been announced. The awards were given in 7 categories: website, social media, online marketing, target marketing, special event marketing campaign, integrated marketing campaign, and external newsletter, and each entry was judged on results achieved (such as increased leads, more inbound inquiries, new projects, etc.), as well as creativity and marketing objectives.

For this contest, exceptional marketing pieces which have achieved measurable results and/or design excellence were evaluated by a panel of judges composed of industry practitioners and ZweigWhite’s own experts.

Award winners had some truly remarkable marketing campaigns and pieces:

EYP Architecture & Engineering placed first in three categories (external newsletter, integrated marketing campaign and target marketing). A judge said of EYP Architecture & Engineering’s first place integrated marketing campaign, “This is a very creative program. From the concept of “fresh ideas” and the logo design, the colors selected, to the multiple email blasts, dinner invitations, fresh fruit gifts in eye-opening packaging, the fun “nutrition” facts and the outrageous, “in your face” orange of the booth (which even a blind person couldn’t miss!).

Hickok Cole Architects also was a multiple award winner with a first place finish in the special event marketing campaign category and a second place in the integrated marketing campaign category. Judges said, “if I could give ‘extra credit’ points to this entry – for setting the bar so high and for the amazing achievement this campaign represents – I would do so,” and “Overall, I think the level of design excellence for this campaign is the equivalent of Olympic Gold.”

Firms that place in the top three receive a special award and will be featured in The Zweig Marketing Letter. Past Marketing Excellence Awards winners have received significant favorable media coverage as a result of being part of this prestigious roster.
