NADIA GELLER DESIGNS COMPLETES INTERIOR INSTALLATION AT CITYVIEW’S JASPER APARTMENTS IN LOS ANGELES 

The 296-unit apartment complex is designed to cater to young professionals and students seeking comfortable and vibrant amenities near downtown Los Angeles  

LOS ANGELES – Nadia Geller Designs (NGD), an award-winning interior design firm offering services across the real estate community, has completed the interior design installation at Cityview’s Jasper, an apartment development in Los Angeles. 

Located at 2528 S. Grand Avenue in Los Angeles, on the northeast corner of W. Adams Boulevard and Grand Avenue, Jasper encompasses 282,400 square feet in the newly revitalized University Park East neighborhood. Construction of the multifamily development began in June 2019, with its completion in July 2023. 

The seven-story, mixed-use community has plentiful amenities with interior and exterior styling that is thoughtfully curated to appeal to young professionals, downtown transplants, and students of nearby University of Southern California. Jasper offers a variety of studio, one and two-bedroom floor plans, including some designated as affordable housing. 

Early in the visioning and planning stages of the interior design, NGD focused on creating a resort-style environment for residents that would include stylistic touches, both inside and out. Upon entering the lobby, visitors are immersed in a clean and sleek space done in a simple color palette, allowing the furnishings and accessories to pop. The expansive space features a bold patterned wall made of hexagonal stone tile that begs the eye to move across the room, eliminating the need for traditional art. The design firm takes great care in balancing the different scales of the architectural and furnishing elements. 

Other common areas at Jasper received that same enhanced attention to detail. A cutting-edge fitness center is designed for healthy lifestyles, and rooftop patios are filled with fun spaces to hang out, work, read, lounge and catch amazing views of the city. State-of-the-art technology is built into CV Works (the community workspace) for remote workers or entrepreneurs, while still incorporating warm details like deep seating in private meeting rooms decorated with large format black-and-white framed portrait photographs. Individual workstations are also available with a desk and chair for those seeking a solo experience. 

Jasper’s club room is a large entertainment space perfect for hosting large or small gatherings. A chef-worthy, open-air kitchen looks out on multiple seating arrangements, from lush banquets to modern high-tops. Once again, the colors, fixtures and materials complement each other, creating an elegant and vibrant meeting space. 

The exterior of the apartment complex features two rooftop sky decks with outdoor dining, Korean BBQ grills, a pizza oven, and an entertainment terrace. A stunning pool is the centerpiece of a lush courtyard, within a horseshoe of residences surrounding it. Other outdoor highlights include cabanas, poolside loungers and daybeds, and a quad area which offers a game lawn, billiards, and comfortable communal spaces for outdoor dining and entertaining. 

During the Jasper design and installation process, NGD partnered with other firms including TSM Architects, MJS Landscaping and Flux Branding.
