Krishna Sandepudi Joins WSP as U.S. Bridges and Structures Director

WSP has hired Krishna Sandepudi as senior vice president, national bridges and structures practice director to lead firm’s national team of technical experts.

TAMPA, FLORIDA — WSP has hired Krishna Sandepudi, PhD, PE, SE, as senior vice president, national bridges and structures practice director.

Sandepudi directs a national team of seasoned technical experts, fostering strong client and stakeholder relationships with a focus on leveraging WSP’s 130-plus year legacy of bridge engineering. He possesses 34 years of global industry experience, including business development and execution of multi-disciplinary projects, as well as management of client relationships, sub-consultants and personnel within cross-functional teams. He is based in Tampa.

Sandepudi previously served as southeast U.S. director for an international engineering firm, where he was responsible for managing complex projects across a seven-state region, including major bridge and highway projects for state departments of transportation.

Sandepudi is a graduate of the Kellogg School of Management with a master’s degree in international business, marketing and technology. He also graduated from Florida Atlantic University with both a PhD in ocean engineering and a master’s degree in civil engineering, and Sri Venkateswara University with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
