SF War Memorial Veterans Building awarded LEED Gold certification with assist from Thornton Tomasetti
The San Francisco War Memorial Veterans Building, regarded as one of the finest examples of Beaux Arts architecture and civic design in the U.S., was recently awarded LEED Gold certification from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). Thornton Tomasetti provided LEED certification consulting to the City of San Francisco for the building as part of a $156-million seismic upgrade and modernization program.
