The U.S. Department of Transportation’s (U.S. DOT) Federal Transit Administration (FTA) announced a proposal to facilitate public-private partnerships (P3s) in public transportation.
The U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Transit Administration (FTA) selected the cities of Birmingham, Ala.; Charlotte, N.C.; Albuquerque, N.M.; Omaha, Neb.; and Tacoma, Wash. to receive support in planning development near transit systems as part of the second round of its Transit Oriented Development (TOD) Technical Assistance Initiative.
