WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff receives HACIA Corporate Leadership Award

Chicago — The Hispanic American Construction Industry Association (HACIA) honored WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff with its Corporate Leadership Award for 2017.

HACIA is a nonprofit organization that works to promote diversity in the construction industry, helping to equip the Hispanic community with the tools to succeed at new business opportunities and increase its participation in the construction industry.

The award recognizes WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff’s involvement with HACIA in the Chicago metropolitan area and the firm’s contribution to the region’s Hispanic community.

In conveying the award, HACIA stated: “Your involvement with HACIA in the Chicago metropolitan area has deepened and broadened your presence with the construction industry. Your active participation in the Hispanic community should be applauded and commended and we look forward to working with WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff in the future.”

In accepting the award, John Trotta, senior vice president, WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, noted: “Our relationship with HACIA dates back many years. Winning this award is confirmation that we’re doing the right thing – that we’re helping other firms achieve the American dream.”

Some of WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff’s projects in the Chicago area include the O’Hare Modernization Program; restoration of three stations along the O’Hare Blue Line light rail; rehabilitation of the Wells Street Bridge; track renewal for the Dearborn Blue Line subway; and preliminary engineering studies for the Illiana Expressway.
