ThorntonTomasetti Foundation awards scholarships

NEW YORK, NY – The Thornton Tomasetti Foundation (www.thorntontomasettifoundation.org) recently awarded several scholarships.

New York University received $10,000 in scholarships for two students studying engineering and architecture. The scholarships, each worth $5,000, were awarded to students demonstrating exceptional ability and outstanding achievement in engineering, design and technology.

One scholarship was awarded to James Walsh, a senior in the Urban Design and Architecture Studies program at New YorkUniversity’s College of Arts and Science, and the other went to Zain Ahmad, also a senior, who is majoring in civil engineering at the Polytechnic Institute of New York University.

TT also awarded a $15,000 scholarship to Lisa Vienckowski, a student enrolled in the Master of Engineering in Structural Engineering program at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pa.
