Stanley Consultants awarded statewide contract from Arizona Department of Transportation

PHOENIX — Stanley Consultants, a global consulting engineering firm with a local office in Phoenix, was awarded an on-call contract from the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT). Under the contract, work may be awarded to Stanley Consultants through task orders for a period of up to five years. The task orders will cover both state and local public agency development projects located throughout Arizona.

The contract covers a wide scope of services that includes roadway, intersection, trail and interchange design; traffic analyses; signing and pavement marking; drainage; structures; right of way; survey; computer modeling; environmental analysis; coordination with public and governmental agencies; and other engineering services.

“Arizona’s economy is on the rebound. An important factor in sustaining this recovery is a well-planned, well-designed, and well-maintained state transportation system.  Stanley Consultants is proud to be a part of it and pleased in the confidence that ADOT continues to place in us,” said Mike Hunzinger, Senior Vice President and Infrastructure Business Leader.

Stanley Consultants began providing services to the ADOT in 1983 with the design of an I-10 interchange and has gone on to design hundreds of transportation projects throughout the region.  The firm has received multiple design awards, most recently for the freeway-to-freeway interchange between SR 202L and SR 24 in Mesa.
