Parsons joins the Water Design-Build Council

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Water Design-Build Council announced that Parsons has become the council’s newest member. The Water Design-Build Council is a not-for-profit organization seeking to advance the development and rehabilitation of the nation’s municipal water and wastewater systems through the use of the design-build and construction management at-risk methods of project delivery.

Founded in 1944, Parsons, an engineering, construction, technical, and management services firm with revenues of $2.9 billion in 2009, is 100-percent owned by the Employee Stock Ownership Trust. Today, more than 12,000 Parsons employees are engaged in executing more than 4,500 projects in 25 countries around the world.

Parsons provides a broad spectrum of planning, program and construction management, construction, and design-build services for water resources, wastewater systems, and water treatment facilities, as well as services for developing and upgrading reservoirs, dams, and ports and harbors.
