MBP expands to Florida

TAMPA, FLA. — McDonough Bolyard Peck Inc. (MBP) has opened its twelfth office in Tampa, Fla.

Headquartered in Fairfax, Va., MBP has offices ranging up and down the East Coast in the states of New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, North Carolina, Georgia, and with five additional Virginia locations. MBP’s continued growth enabled the firm’s expansion further south to Florida in October 2010.

“The opening of this office marks a significant step in our strategic growth,” said Blake V. Peck, P.E., CCM, president and chief operating officer. “We believe Florida will be a key area for MBP to grow many of its services and expand into new market sectors.”

MBP’s Florida location will provide a wide variety in construction management and dispute resolution services. Construction management services include cost estimating, value engineering, constructibility review, CPM scheduling, and inspection. Dispute resolution services include claims consulting, delay, impact and damages analysis, expert testimony, and litigation support. MBP also is active in many forms of Alternative Disputes Resolution (ADR).

Scott A. Galbraith, P.E., branch manager serves as the main contact for MBP’s Florida office. Originally from the Florida area, Galbraith has more than 18 years experience in construction and project management and has been with MBP since 1993. His experience providing construction management services includes project management; contract administration; CPM scheduling; cost estimating; constructibility review; and construction inspection, engineering, and materials testing and inspection.
