Manhard Consulting expands operations to San Antonio

San Antonio — Civil engineering and surveying firm Manhard Consulting opened a new office in San Antonio to better service the growth of the Texas economy. Manhard’s national network of civil engineers, surveyors and environmental consultants will provide expertise in the areas of hydraulics and hydrology and environmental site assessment for the rapidly growing Central Texas economic community.

The greater San Antonio area is in the midst of significant economic expansion.  According to the U.S Census Bureau, San Antonio ranked third among U.S cities in population increase from 2015 to 2016, adding 24,473 residents.  In 2016, the city invested $1.1 billion into new commercial developments, and, so far, in 2017 has seen a double-digit rise in commercial property value.  Manhard’s new full-service office of engineers, surveyors and environmental consultants will support the thriving San Antonio economy by delivering successful commercial, residential and industrial developments needed by the city as it continues to attract new businesses, residents and update its infrastructure.

“After a successful opening of our Houston-area office in The Woodlands last year, we are continuing to expand our footprint throughout Texas,” said Thomas Stroh, P.E., Texas Regional Manager, Manhard Consulting.  “Within the last five years, San Antonio’s commercial real estate has continued to grow and we want to provide our expertise to those who are developing the infrastructure needed to keep up with the flourishing economy in Central Texas and beyond.”

Tom McCabe, P.E., Regional Manager, will lead the newly assembled team for Manhard’s San Antonio office, which will be located at 9901 Broadway Street.  The office is the eleventh in Manhard’s national network, which includes offices in California, Colorado, Illinois, Nevada and North Dakota.
