HDR forms new water and FERM business class

OMAHA, NEB. — HDR’s Water and Federal, Energy, and Resource Management (FERM) business groups have combined resources to form one new business class that enhances client services and solutions regarding water resource planning, development, and management. Bob Beduhn has been named business class director for the new business class — Integrated Water Resources. John Maxwell has been named the WBG’s Water Planning Agency market sector director.

A professional engineer, Beduhn has worked in the industry for more than 25 years and has been with HDR for 15 years. He is FERM’s market sector director for natural resources management and will continue to serve in that position in addition to his new role as director of the new business class. He has extensive experience in the water resources field and has contributed to the development of HDR‘s national water resources program.

Maxwell has been with HDR for more than 30 years and is a professional engineer. He most recently served as the WBG Integrated Water Planning business class director. During his career at HDR, he has served in a variety of roles and has participated in leading the development of more than 100 utility system plans, addressing all facets of utility planning, resource and utility management, capital improvements, modeling, conservation, mapping, staffing, operations, rates and financing, environmental review, and other key implementation functions.
