Greenhorne & O—Mara Opens Ohio office for expanding energy practice

BOARDMAN, OHIO — Engineering consulting firm Greenhorne &O’Mara (G &O) continues to expand its energy practice by opening an office in the heart of the Utica Shale. The Boardman, Ohio (Youngstown/Akron area) office will be an integral part of G&O’s energy practice, as work opportunities related to the natural gas industry increase within the region. This office continues the westward expansion of current Utica Shale services provided in Lawrence County, Pa.

“We are strategically positioning the Ohio office in order to enhance support services for our clients throughout the Marcellus and Utica shale regions.” said Regional Operations Manager Michael P. Bougher, P.E. “The location will complement our Dubois, Pa.; Mechanicsburg, Pa.; and Fairmont, W.V., offices and enable us to enhance the natural gas related services such as engineering, surveying, right-of-way, environmental, and permitting that G&O provides.”
