Curt W. Helman, P.E., named president of Erdman Anthony

ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The Board of Directors of Erdman Anthony recently named Curt W. Helman, P.E., as president. Helman will be responsible for Erdman Anthony’s Design and Construction Services Support Divisions and will report directly to Russell Bullock, Erdman Anthony CEO.

“Curt has been a vital part of our team for nearly 20 years and we are confident in his ability to lead Erdman Anthony to continued growth and success in the future,” said Bullock.

During the past 13 years Helman has served as a senior vice president in charge of Erdman Anthony’s Construction Services Support Division and has grown that division into the largest group in the company. The Mechanicsburg, Pa., resident holds a B.S. in Structural Design and Construction Engineering Technology from The Pennsylvania State University. He is also a 2009 graduate of the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) Senior Executives Institute (SEI) — an advanced management, leadership, and public policy training program for current and emerging architect/engineering leaders.

“I can attribute the greater part of my growth as a professional to my time at Erdman Anthony. During my time here I have witnessed firsthand the professionalism and impressive skills of the individuals who have carried its 60-year legacy forward,” said Helman. “It is my privilege to serve this organization as president.”

Erdman Anthony developed a leadership transition plan several years ago in anticipation of the retirement of Bullock. “Erdman Anthony is blessed with a strong group of future leaders who have demonstrated their dedication to our organization,” said Bullock. “We will continue to grow and develop these leaders in support of our desire to promote from within whenever possible.”
