Kansas City, Mo. — CRB announced that Ryan Schroeder, senior associate and Midwest region leader, will transition to president and oversee worldwide operations and the performance of all business units. Jeff Biskup, a founding partner and the company’s current president, will continue as CEO and board chairman, working closely with Schroeder and senior leadership to guide strategy and direction for the company.

“Our longstanding commitment to CRB’s clients and remarkable staff requires a forward-looking approach to our business and a proactive succession planning process,” Biskup said. “For years, I have been engaged with CRB’s leadership team in preparing our organization for long-term sustainable success. Ryan Schroeder’s appointment is a key step in the deliberate implementation of CRB’s strategic transition. Having worked with Ryan over his 29-year career at CRB, I know his vast industry knowledge, values, and leadership skills make him the ideal person to effectively lead our company into the future.”

Schroeder joined CRB in 1988 as a design engineer and held positions of increasing responsibility, including biotechnology team leader, region leader and member of CRB’s board of directors. Schroeder said, “I am both excited and honored by the opportunity to take on this role and build on the core values created by CRB’s founders, Doyle Clark, Gerry Richardson and Jeff Biskup. I have been fortunate to watch CRB transition from a local engineering firm to an internationally recognized engineering, architecture and construction organization. I am firmly committed to upholding CRB’s culture—a culture that attracts a special kind of person: People with endless drive and selfless commitment to their clients. People who work hard, play hard and give back to their communities.”

As CEO and chairman, Biskup will focus on the continued strategic growth of the company—serving as a high-level visionary and interface with CRB’s clients and industry professionals and developing future leadership. Biskup explained, “CRB’s brand is recognized for its passion and drive to provide client-focused, world-class engineering, architecture, construction and technical-business consulting solutions for high-technology industries. Along with our leadership team, Ryan and I will work closely together to ensure we stay true to our clients and to our exceptional employees who have enabled our tremendous history of success. I am more excited about the future of CRB today than I have ever been.”
