Carney Engineering Group named finalist, Emerging Business of the Year

YORK, Pa. – Carney Engineering Group (CEG), a multi-discipline structural engineering firm serving the Mid-Atlantic region, has been named a finalist by the Central Penn Business Journal as an Emerging Business of the Year. The award is part of the publication’s annual Business of the Year awards, created to honor area businesses for their outstanding contributions to Central Pennsylvania’s business community.

The Central Penn Business Journal divides the awards into six categories of recognition: Business of the Year 1-50 employees, Business of the Year 51-100 employees, Business of the Year 101 or more employees, Emerging Business of the Year, Executive of the Year and Corporate Citizen of the Year. Award recipients are evaluated in the areas of company history, growth, leadership, accomplishments, challenges and community involvement. To be eligible, nominees must be a for-profit, privately held company with headquarters or significant operations in Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Perry or York counties.
