Best Firm winners celebrated at summit in Seattle

FAYETTEVILLE, ARK. — ZweigWhite, publisher of CE News and Structural Engineer, announced the winners of the Best Firms to Work For Ranking. These firms inspire their teams to perform at the highest levels by creating an environment where employees feel valued, where they feel like they make a difference and where they can clearly see their contribution to the overall mission and success of the firm.

Winners were announced and celebrated at The Best Firms To Work For Summit held July 19-20, 2012, at the W Seattle Hotel in Seattle. The Summit was a time for those in the architecture, engineering, planning and environmental industry to acknowledge firms that have brought out the best in their people, share strategies, success stories and industry news.

This prestigious ranking is based on comprehensive evaluations of firm culture, workplace practices, employee benefits, employee retention rates, professional development, and more — both from the management and staff’s perspectives. All firms that apply are evaluated against each other, not a set standard. The top three overall winners in each discipline are ranked according to a panel of three judges. Firms are also ranked in size categories objectively, according to a numerical system based on survey results.
