Bentley announces 2007 BE Awards of Excellence winners

Bentley Systems, Inc., recently announced the winners of the 2007 BE Awards of Excellence, which honor the work of Bentley users improving the world’s infrastructure. Thirty-one projects in the professional portion of the program received awards during the BE Conference in Los Angeles. An independent panel of BE Awards jurors, which included accomplished Bentley users and industry experts, selected the winning projects from more than 280 nominations.

"Honoring the recipients of our BE Awards of Excellence and their wonderfully innovative work is something I look forward to every year," says CEO Greg Bentley. "It is a privilege and a pleasure to recognize so much talent and so many projects that will have a positive impact on the world community for generations."

Additionally, Bentley COO Malcolm Walter announced the winners of a special new category of BE AwardsBest Return on Innovationselected this year by Walter based on ROI data supplied by each of the nominees. The winners included Bechtel, Dutch Ministry of Finance, GHAFARI Associates, and Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.
