Arup launches online magazine to showcase innovation in the built environment

New York — Arup announced the next generation of its online publication for North and South America — a redesigned site called Doggerel. The site was previously known as Arup Connect. Doggerel deploys a user-friendly interface to highlight stories about innovation in the built environment, from within the firm and beyond.

Doggerel explores the ideas that matter most for the built environment today and in the years to come, from trends reshaping entire disciplines to technical modifications that open new possibilities for a single project. The editorial team draws from Arup’s breadth and depth of expertise to showcase our thought leadership and culture of innovation, while spotlighting the work of clients, collaborators, competitors, and those who push industry boundaries.

The site’s new name reflects the firm’s history. The book Doodles and Doggerel, published in 1989, showcases the bold, playful drawings and poetry that founder Sir Ove Arup created throughout his lifetime. The collection offers a glimpse into the creative spirit that continues to guide the company today. Arup’s online magazine continues this tradition with the name Doggerel.

Doggerel can be accessed at doggerel.arup.com
