ARCADIS U.S. expands to U.S. Virgin Islands

DENVER — International consulting and engineering company ARCADIS announced the expansion of ARCADIS U.S. (formerly Malcolm Pirnie), to the U.S. Virgin Islands. With this development, ARCADIS claims the largest environmental engineering and consulting presence in the territory.

Jed JohnHope, senior chemical engineer for ARCADIS U.S., will lead the new office, located on the island of St. Croix in Christiansted. JohnHope will be joined by Narcisse Abraham, Michael Alexander, Andy Chelcher, Ariela Hayes, Angel Perez, and Jonas Verhoff. These individuals — all natives of the U.S. Virgin Islands — possess more than 50 years of collective experience in the environmental industry. ARCADIS currently has ongoing projects with HOVENSA LLC and the Virgin Islands Waste Management Authority.

The office will support a variety of local industrial, municipal, commercial, federal, and hotel development projects.
