ERDCWERX, ERDC Invite Submissions for Sensor Mat Solutions

A few tourist waiting underground for the elevator, Bochnia salt mine, Poland

VICKSBURG, MISS. – ERDCWERX, in collaboration with the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), is inviting submissions that feature sensor mat products or designs. The Army requires an array of geophone sensors that can be easily deployable by non-technical personnel on a hard surface to listen for underground construction activity within a certain distance between source and receivers.

The Matted Geophone Array Capability Assessment encourages industry, academia, national labs, individual innovators, and other parties to submit product specifications or designs that meet or exceed RFI specifications as defined by ERDC and, if selected, may inform ERDC’s acquisition strategy necessary to meet project goals. ERDCWERX does not require that the submitting party be certified to do business with the federal government.

Submissions will be accepted through February 1, 2022. For details, visit www.erdcwerx.org/matted-geophone-array.

ERDCWERX encourages those who would like to learn more about opportunities with ERDC to sign up to receive project announcements at www.erdcwerx.org/join-our-ecosystem.
