AEC TECH NEWS: Sentera signs North American Distribution Agreement with Dynamic UAV Solutions

Minneapolis — Sentera, LLC, a global provider of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), sensors, and data management platforms, signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Dynamic UAV Solutions North America, LLC, a new distributor in the commercial UAV space for the mapping, construction, survey, and agricultural, inspection, mining, public safety, and landfill industries.

"This is a big week for Sentera and Dynamic UAV Solutions! It is imperative that Dynamic's customers throughout the US and Canada use high-performance, rugged, reliable products for their agriculture, construction, and inspection applications. Sentera's broad, high-quality product portfolio fits this need perfectly," said Dan O'Reilly of Dynamic UAV Solutions.

Dynamic UAV Solutions will distribute Sentera's suite of precision payloads and the revolutionary Phoenix fixed-wing UAV.  The 4-pound Phoenix UAV features up to a 60-minute endurance, cruise speed of 30 mph, and can be hand-launched in just a few steps. The Kestrel OnBoard autopilot ensures images are captured with precise, even spacing and overlap that is auto-calculated and can be adjusted by the user at the click of a button.

Greg Emerick, executive vice president for Sentera, said, "We are thrilled to bring our deep history and proven expertise in the UAV and sensor industry to an even broader, more diverse audience with the Dynamic UAV Solutions relationship. This is a natural fit and a great opportunity for Dynamic's users to use world-class products, that are supported by world-class customer service.

"We have experienced, first hand, the phenomenal precision, control and accuracy that this light-weight and incredibly durable Phoenix UAV provides,” Emerick said. “Now, Dynamic UAV Solutions and their customers can leverage the Phoenix's unparalleled accuracy, speed, precise looping radius, and exact flight level that is needed to create perfect tiling."

Sentera's suite of sensors integrate seamlessly onto the Phoenix platform, allowing for the highest-precision of data and imagery capture, with one of the highest precision UAVs available today. Included in the distribution agreement are the Sentera-Q and Sentera Double 4K sensors.

Emerick explained the diverse markets in which Sentera's precision sensors will be used: "The Sentera-Q Sensors were specifically selected for their superior survey and mapping capabilities, and our ultra-precise Sentera Double 4K Sensors – launched in April – are setting a new industry benchmark in UAV image quality."
